目的 基于“2020年度自然指数榜单”分析南京医科大学的自然指数状况，为学校建立科学的学科发展机制，提升科学研究能力和学术影响力提供参考。方法 分别统计南京医科大学及两所进入“2020年度自然指数榜单”的对标高校（南方医科大学、首都医科大学）发文情况，分析南京医科大学发文情况的同时，分别从机构发文数量、自然指数总值、论文期刊分布、国际/国内合作情况等方面比较三所高校的科研竞争力。结果 南京医科大学2020年自然指数主要涉及4个学科，分别为Physical Sciences（5.79%）、Life Sciences（57.14%）、Earth & Environmental Sciences（0.99%）及Chemistry（36.08%）；文献分布于35种期刊，FC＞1的期刊共有7种；南京医科大学国内合作院校主要为南京大学、中东南大学、国科学院、浙江大学和中国药科大学等，国际合作大部分为美国；自然指数分布于20个二级机构，药学院表现较为突出；南京医科大学与对标高校相比发文总量最多，首都医科大学次之，南方医科大学发文量最少；三所高校4个学科发文量由高到低均为：Life Sciences＞Chemistry＞Physical Sciences＞Earth & Environmental Sciences；南京医科大学的FC总值高于对标高校；TOP10的期刊主要分布于生命科学和化学领域；三所高校合作机构数量众多，南京医科大学和南方医科大学分别在国际合作和国内合作中贡献度相对突出。结论 三所医科院校在发文数量和质量方面表现各有千秋，高校在巩固优势学科的同时，应当取长补短、协同多个学科均衡发展。
Abstract:
Objective Based on the "2020 Natural Index List" to analyze the natural index status of Nanjing Medical University, to provide a reference for the school to establish a scientific discipline development mechanism and improve scientific research capabilities and academic influence.Methods The statistics of Nanjing Medical University and two benchmarking universities (Southern Medical University and Capital Medical University) that entered the "2020 Natural Index List" were separately counted.While analyzing the publication situation of Nanjing Medical University, we compare the scientific research competitiveness of the three universities in terms of the number of publications issued by the institution, the total value of the natural index, the distribution of papers and journals, and the situation of international/domestic cooperation.Results The 2020 Natural Index of Nanjing Medical University mainly involves 4 disciplines, namely Physical Sciences (5.79%), Life Sciences (57.14%), Earth & Environmental Sciences (0.99%) and Chemistry (36.08%);The literature was distributed in 35 journals, and there were 7 journals with FC＞1;The domestic cooperative institutions of Nanjing Medical University were mainly Nanjing University, Southeast University, National Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University and China Pharmaceutical University, etc., and most of the international cooperation was the United States;The natural index was distributed in 20 secondary institutions, and the school of pharmacy had a more outstanding performance;Compared with the benchmark universities, Nanjing Medical University issued the most articles, followed by Capital Medical University, and Southern Medical University issued the least amount of articles;The volume of publications in the four disciplines of the three universities was from high to low: Life Sciences>Chemistry>Physical Sciences>Earth & Environmental Sciences;The total FC value of Nanjing Medical University was higher than that of benchmark universities; TOP 10 journals are mainly distributed in the fields of life science and chemistry;The three universities had a large number of cooperative institutions. Nanjing Medical University and Southern Medical University had made relatively outstanding contributions to international cooperation and domestic cooperation, respectively.Conclusion The three medical colleges and universities have their own merits in terms of the quantity and quality of publications. While consolidating their superior disciplines, colleges and universities should learn from each other’s strengths and coordinate the balanced development of multiple disciplines.
